What influences does the use of
social networks have on students in grade 6-3 at the José Miguel de Restrepo y
Puerta Educational Institution?
The reason we chose this theme, , was because we observed how at the end
of the day, some students used their phones, either to play, take pictures and
upload them to their states, also to listen to music which is the unusual
thing. So everything has changed, because we remember that at that time, we
took a small ball to play for a while before entering the first hour of class,
but at no time did we use cell phones. That's why we decided to choose that
theme and how it can influence them at their early age, what risks it can
present, but at the same time what are the pros.
Our purpose is not to judge social networks, but to show what is
involved in using these social networks, since we are exposed to both good and
bad things, also relying on our theoretical framework. We made the decision to focus on our
institution because we have seen how it has been changing the way of
distracting their minds by means of networks and technological devices, we also
focused on the qualitative research method since we analyzed how their
environment was, what the students were focused on, also if they did something
different apart from using their cell phones and among other things.

día, algunos estudiantes usaron sus teléfonos, ya sea para jugar, tomar fotos y
subirlas a sus estados, también para escuchar música que es lo inusual. Así que
todo ha cambiado, porque recordamos que en ese momento, tomamos una pequeña
pelota para jugar un rato antes de entrar en la primera hora de clase, pero en
ningún momento utilizamos los teléfonos móviles. Por eso decidimos elegir ese
tema y cómo puede influir en ellos a una edad temprana, qué riesgos puede
presentar, pero al mismo tiempo cuáles son los pros.
Nuestro
propósito no es juzgar las redes sociales, sino mostrar lo que implica el uso
de estas redes sociales, ya que estamos expuestos a cosas buenas y malas,
apoyándonos también en nuestro marco teórico.
Tomamos la decisión de centrarnos en nuestra institución porque hemos
visto cómo ha ido cambiando la forma de distraer sus mentes por medio de las
redes y los dispositivos tecnológicos, también nos centramos en el método de
investigación cualitativa ya que analizamos cómo era su entorno, en qué se
centraban los estudiantes, también si hacían algo diferente aparte de usar sus
teléfonos móviles y entre otras cosas.
